JOB DUTIES:

Managing datacenter migrations and database operations. Manage build, packaging, and deployment of multiple databases in cloud environment. Managing release promotions to QA and stage environments. Create / enhance / maintain build database related scripts / tools as necessary. Managing multiple projects within team to achieve business needs like major version upgrade, vulnerability fix and cloud migrations. Working in Azure and Onsite database design and implementation to support business applications, ensuring system scalability, security, performance, and reliability. Supporting and managing multiple Production, Test, Staging and Development instances with respective business need and standards. Handling database upgrades, migrations, and implementation in Microsoft Azure IAAS and PAAS. Effectively using automation tools like AWX, Azure DevOps and scripting with PowerShell, TSQL for database team needs. Work under supervision. Travel and/or Relocation to unanticipated client sites throughout USA is required.

EDUCATION:

Master’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering (Any) / Science / Technology or closely related field with Six (6) months of experience in the job offered or as an IT Consultant or Analyst or Developer or Programmer or Engineer or very closely related. Employer also accepts Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering (Any) / Science / Technology or closely related field plus five years of progressive work experience in related field.

EXPERIENCE:

Experience of Six (6) months of managing or administering SQL Server is required. Travel and/or Relocation to unanticipated client sites throughout USA is required.
