Job Summary:
The Software Quality Assurance - Team Lead will be responsible for facilitating the adoption and implementation of tools.Ensure compliance with standard processes, and provide guidance to the team regarding test automation strategies and best demonstrated practices.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Proactively lead the design, development and implementation of Tools.
* Work closely with the systems development team to ensure compliance with standard processes and tools
.
* Collaborate with project development team to assess and document issues found during testing.
* Estimate timelines and resources required for testing assignments.
* Develop documentation for functional business processes.
* Evaluate requirements and develop test plans.
* Serve as a mentor for existing and new team members.
Skills / Attributes Required:
* Prior Team leading experience.
* Good exposure to the QA life cycle.
* Excellent working knowledge of QTP.
* Worked with web-based, database-driven applications and client-server applications.
* Experience working on test scripts is a plus.
* Ability to facilitate and coordinate internal testing meetings and client meetings.
* Experience testing Microsoft .NET\ JAVA web based applications.
* Strong problem-solving, personal, and creative decision making skills.
* Positive attitude and a strong work ethic is a must.
* Ability to work under pressure and must be result oriented.
* Strong written and spoken English.
* Experience writing test scripts.
* Database knowledge would be a plus.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Master’s Degree, Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science would be considered.
